About us
Silk Searoad was established in 2020 and in view of the then depressed product tanker market, the Group opted to invest in 3 product tankers in total; a 35,000 dwt newbuilding and two 2006-buillt MR product tankers, acquired at historically bottom prices.
Following the strong recovery of the product tankers market, all 3 vessels were eventually sold generating hefty capital and operating gains. The Group’s fleet has been renewed, while it was also diversified following the acquisition of two panamax bulkers.

Silk Searoad set up a strategic cooperation with V Group and all 8 acquired vessels have been managed by a V Ships Office including V Ships Cyprus, ITM Dubai and V Ships Greece.
Commercial management services have been provided by Maersk Tankers Pools, while the Silksearoad has recently entrusted one of its product tankers to Signal Pool.
